Efficiency of an electric heater
I'm wondering if we have to even bother about the efficiency of an electric heater? This is such a wonderful trick question to ask someone....

oh.. and y is that?
I was hoping I didn't have to explain it, I hope I'm right in saying that efficient or not, the heater will produce heat.... well on second thought the efficiency will not be sooo important I guess...
well, i hope i understand the question correctly...
can't the efficiency be measured by the time taken to heat the room or the water?

hmmm I was more worried about the energy efficiency.. i.e. if it was a 1KW heater how much heat would you get out of it... I realise, now, that some energy will be lost as light and decay of the equipment... But yet, I guess, the efficiency will be higher compared to electricity to chemical(charging a battery) or electicity to mechanical(motors) conversions.. What say..
